Service Advisor

Due to rapid growth and expansion, PBX Truck Service is looking for an experienced Service Advisor! The successful candidate would have excellent communication and customer service skills, have a TEAM first attitude and have previous experience in a Truck service department. 

Responsibilities:

• Scheduling service appointments

• Recommending and explaining the nature of the required maintenance and repairs to the customer

• Communicating frequently and effectively with service foremen to obtain information on needed repairs

• Keeping the customer informed of the repair progress and communicating the need for additional work when needed

• Handling customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner

• Handle high volumes of customer calls and perform under pressure

• Must check unit history to determine if any warranty, whether internal or OEM, exists

• Must work closely with the warranty department to ensure proper protocols are followed 

Experience:

• 2 years experience in a service advisor role (preferred)

• Experience in the trucking industry is a strong asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent 

Pay: Compensation is commensurate with experience.
